Chandigarh, May 9- The Communist Party of India announced during a meeting with intellectuals and social service organizations of Punjab that it will undertake a struggle concerning the issues of common and poor people. In a meeting chaired by Dr. Swarajbir Singh regarding the national conference to be held in Chandigarh from September 21 to 25, 2025, it was stated that the problems of the country’s poor and common people can only be resolved by the country’s left-wing forces, intellectuals, other public organizations, and conscious individuals of society.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Swarajbir Singh said that the current capitalist system is facing a very serious crisis and is on its last legs. There is significant resentment among the country’s workers, farmers, other laboring classes, small traders, employees, etc., against the current political system, and they see no new alternative or path to resolve their problems. This gap can be filled by left-wing forces and civil society members working together.
He further stated that the participation of women in the current systems is very low, which is a matter of concern for societal progress, and women should take the lead in creating a public movement regarding the country’s issues.
