Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 07 May 2025: A state of emergency has arisen due to war-like conditions in the country. Keeping this situation in mind, it is imperative to ensure the security of the country's ammunition depots. Therefore, keeping in mind the security of Ammunition Depot Dapper, Tehsil and Sub-Division Derabassi, SAS Nagar, in District SAS Nagar, orders have been issued regarding No Flying and No Drone Zone.
District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Smt. Komal Mittal, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 163, Chapter 11 of the Indian Civil Protection Code, 2023 (46 of 2023), has declared a half-kilometer radius of Ammunition Depot Dapper, Tehsil and Sub-Division Derabassi, S.A.S. Nagar, as a no-drone and no-fly zone, completely prohibiting the flying of any kind of flying object.
These orders shall be in force in Ammunition Depot Dapper, Tehsil and Sub-Division Derabassi, S.A.S. Nagar, from 7th May 2025 till further orders.
