Hisar:– To make the sub-division area green, a campaign called 'Mhari Hari Bhari Hansi' will be run. 10 thousand plants will be planted in the campaign running from 8 July to 8 September. To achieve this goal, full cooperation of social organizations, gram panchayats, government departments and the general public will be taken.

A detailed action plan has been prepared by the sub-division administration for this campaign to be run under the leadership of SDM Rajesh Khoth. Plants will be planted in groups. Five plants will be planted in each group. The record of each group of plants will be maintained. For this, special registers will be installed in the forest department and SDM office.
Plants will be taken care of for 2 years: Under this campaign, every plant planted will be taken care of till it grows up. A motivator and a guardian will be appointed for each group of plants. The motivator's job will be to make people aware about the importance of plantation and the guardian's job will be to take care of the plants for two years. Co-ordinate mapping of the group of plants will also be done.
Officials should select appropriate sites: SDM said that 10 departments including Forest Department, Panchayat Department, Health Department, Education Department have been identified for this campaign. He has instructed the officials of all these departments to select their office premises and other places and ensure that they send the report.
He also said that these should be the sites where office buildings are not to be expanded so that later the plants do not have to be cut. He said that under this campaign, priority will be given to those places for planting trees where boundary walls etc. are built.
Plants planted last year will also be taken care of: In the first phase of Mhari Hari Bhari Hansi Abhiyan, along with planting new plants, plants planted last year will also be taken care of. The purpose of this entire campaign will be to increase greenery in the area through plants.
Administration will provide plants free of cost: SDM said that July, August and September are the best time to plant trees. Plants planted during this time period grow well. He said that nature has given us a lot, people should also fulfill their responsibility towards nature by planting as many trees as possible. Those who want to plant trees will be provided free plants by the administration.
