Vocational teachers submitted a memorandum to the constituency MLA Balachaur

Nawanshahr: A delegation of NSQF vocational teachers submitted a memorandum to the constituency MLA Balachaur Santosh Kataria in the name of the Finance Minister Punjab. While giving information, District President Ranjit Singh said that MLA Santosh Kataria had come today to inaugurate the work done by the government at Government Senior Secondary School Rattewal under the Education Revolution Program.

Nawanshahr: A delegation of NSQF vocational teachers submitted a memorandum to the constituency MLA Balachaur Santosh Kataria in the name of the Finance Minister Punjab. While giving information, District President Ranjit Singh said that MLA Santosh Kataria had come today to inaugurate the work done by the government at Government Senior Secondary School Rattewal under the Education Revolution Program.
On that occasion, the teachers informed him about their demands. The President said that our demands have been sent to the Finance Minister Punjab. The teachers appealed to the MLA to share their demands with the Finance Minister. He said that NSQF vocational teachers have been working on very low salaries for the last eleven years and they have no job security.
Private companies are exploiting them mentally and financially. He said that their salaries should be made on the lines of Haryana. And a good policy should be made regarding their welfare so that NSQF vocational teachers can have a good future.
He said that MLA Santosh Kataria has given him full confidence that he will talk to Finance Minister Harpal Cheema today and get their demands resolved very soon. On this occasion, District President Ranjit Singh was accompanied by teacher Daljit Kaur and teacher Navdeep and other colleagues.
