
Hansi Police organized Kabaddi competition for boys and girls.
Hisar: As per the directions of Superintendent of Police Hansi Amit Yashvardhan, under the Drug Free Fortnight Campaign, in-charge Chowki Bus Stand Hansi Police organized Kabaddi sports competition in the ground near the new vegetable market. The purpose of this event is to motivate the youth towards sports and keep them away from social evils like drug addiction.

Police Chowki Bus Stand Hansi in-charge Sub Inspector Kheta Ram informed that a total of 4 teams from village Dhani Pirawali, Gagan Khedi, Shanti Niketan Hansi and Jagdish Colony Hansi participated in this competition. All the matches were very exciting and competitive.
The final match was a close contest between Shanti Niketan and Jagdish Colony Hansi, in which Shanti Niketan won the title by registering a win by 23-22. Two girls' teams participated. In which the Hansi team won by defeating the Dhani Pirawali team by 19-17.
The winning team was honored with attractive prizes by Hansi Police and all the players were also provided refreshments. During the program, Incharge Chowki Bus Stand Hansi SI Kheta Ram gave important information to the villagers, players and youths while making them aware about de-addiction, road safety and traffic rules.
Minors were advised not to drive vehicles. The ill effects of drugs were told. At the end of the competition, the players took an oath to stay aware against drug abuse and to make their village drug-free.
