Garhshankar, April 28: (Hari Krishan Gangar) Punjab Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Raudi said that the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening the education sector. The government is continuously making efforts to improve the infrastructure of government schools, which is leading to a huge improvement in the quality of education. As a result, the number of admissions in government schools has increased significantly.
Deputy Speaker Raudi today arrived to inaugurate the development works completed in five government schools in Garhshankar Vidhan Sabha constituency at a cost of Rs. 31.98 Lakh. He said that this investment in the education sector is an important step towards strengthening the foundation of the bright future of the state.
Under the program, he inaugurated new classrooms in Government Primary School Posi, boundary wall in Government Primary School Mazara Dingria, other development works in Government Middle School Sarhala Khurd, boundary wall in Government Primary School Gondpur and construction of boundary wall in Government High School Binjo and other development works.
The Deputy Speaker thanked the Panchayat members and School Management Committees and said that this work has been possible only with the cooperation of all. He assured that in the future also the state government will continue to provide all possible support to further strengthen the education sector.
Mr. Raudi said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government has taken excellent initiatives like ‘School of Eminence’, which are giving a new direction to the government education system.
