Garhshanker- The first meeting of Shivalik Social Welfare Society Punjab was held today. In which all the members present exchanged views and elected Phoola Singh Birampuri as President, Dr. Lakhwinder Kumar Lucky as Vice President, Avtar Rana Birampuri as Secretary, Mrs. Geetajali as Treasurer, Joginderpal Happy as Advisor, Advocate Sardar Jaspreet Singh Jandi Balachaur as Legal Advisor, Sandeep Kumar as Press Secretary, Parmila Devi as Joint Secretary and Rajan as Joint Press Secretary.
On this occasion, all the members presented their different views and assured to take part in the works of social welfare and also talked about raising voice against the evils prevailing in the society.
During this inaugural meeting, all the members started the noble work of Shivalik Social Welfare Society by planting shady trees in the Government Elementary School Mohanwal of the area.
