Mahilpur March 20- Post Graduate Fashion Designing Department of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Mahilpur organised a one day workshop on 'Dye and Chemicals in Textile Science'. Ashwini Khosla from Brightway Colours Amritsar along with her assistant Madam Kaveri participated as resource person in this workshop. Biologist Dr. Manpreet Singh Pandher was present as the chief guest during the workshop.
On this occasion, resource person Ashwini Khosla shared tips with the BSc and MSc students of Fashion Designing Department on how to do their work more efficiently by making the best use of dyes and chemicals. During his address, he discussed various aspects related to benthic printing, screen printing, tie and dye.
On this occasion, he informed the students about the use of good quality dyes and chemicals at minimal cost and its good results. On this occasion, the speakers also informed the students about the practical use of the said products. During the workshop, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh gave the vote of thanks.
On this occasion, Head of Fashion Designing Department Prof. Rajvinder Kaur, Prof. Diksha Sharma, Prof. Manjinder Kaur, Prof. Navjot Kaur, Prof. Sonia Dung Dung, Prof. Sharanpreet Singh along with the students of the department were present.
