Ex-servicemen rally to be held on 30th: ADC

Hoshiarpur- Additional Deputy Commissioner Nikas Kumar said that on March 30, an ex-servicemen rally will be organized at Lajwanti Multipurpose Outdoor Stadium for ex-servicemen (ESM), Veer Naris and widows of soldiers of Hoshiarpur district under the aegis of Headquarters 91 Sub Area and Headquarters 11 Corps Jalandhar.

Hoshiarpur- Additional Deputy Commissioner Nikas Kumar said that on March 30, an ex-servicemen rally will be organized at Lajwanti Multipurpose Outdoor Stadium for ex-servicemen (ESM), Veer Naris and widows of soldiers of Hoshiarpur district under the aegis of Headquarters 91 Sub Area and Headquarters 11 Corps Jalandhar.
He was addressing a meeting of officers of various departments of the district today regarding smooth arrangements for the rally. He said that preparations should be started from now to make the rally a success. He said that the objective of this rally is to resolve the complaints quickly and to honor the ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and widows of soldiers.
Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the concept of the rally is 'Veeron ka Samman, Desh ka Gaurav' which is in line with its basic mantra 'Milap, Sehat, Samman, Samman, Samadhan'. This rally will emphasize the need to respect our ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and widows of soldiers and establish permanent contact to ensure their health and welfare.
During this, he apprised them of the work being done by the Transport Department, Health Department, District Mandi Board Officer, Electricity Department, Municipal Corporation, Public Health, District Education Officer, Police Department and other related departments. Nikas Kumar said that a large number of ex-servicemen, Veer Naris and widows of soldiers will participate in this rally.
So, there should be no shortage of any kind in terms of arrangements. On this occasion, Lieutenant Colonel SP Kulkarni, SDM Tanda Pankaj Kumar, SDM Hoshiarpur Sanjeev Kumar, DSP Local Manpreet Singhmar, Lieutenant General (Retd.) Dhillon, RTO Rajinder Singh Gill and other officers were also present.
