Mahilpur, March 4- Students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur participated in the Inter College Science Festival celebrated at SPN College Makarian on the occasion of National Science Day and brought laurels to the institution by winning four prizes.
Speaking about this, the college principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said that Jaspreet and Anchal, students of MSc Mathematics, secured first place in the model making category of these inter-college competitions. He said that Jasmine and Amanjit Kaur secured third place in the poster making competition.
Similarly, Ishan Khatana, a student of MSc Physics, secured first place in the PPT presentation of the above competitions and Ritika, a student, secured first place in the speech competition. On this occasion, Prof. Rajinder Prasad, Dr. Aarti Sharma and Prof. Meenakshi Sharma along with other staff members of the college also congratulated these students.
