Garhshankar- Principal of Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, which is run under the management of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Dr. Amandeep Hira said that the date of admission for undergraduate classes has been extended by Panjab University from July 31 to August 11. She said that students can now get their admission in undergraduate classes without late fee till August 11.
She said that admission for part I and II of postgraduate classes is also going on without late fee. She said that seats in BA B.Ed course have been filled in the college. Limited seats are left in BCA, B.Sc B.Ed and B.Com courses and admission is going on in BA, B.Sc (Medical/Non-Medical) class.
She said that PGDCA, MA History, MCom, MSc Chemistry and Mathematics courses are being successfully run in the college at the post-graduate level and admissions are going on in these courses. She said that scholarship schemes of the Punjab Government, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee for Amritdhari students and under various other schemes and scholarship schemes of NRIs for needy students are being run in the college. 
She urged the students to get admission on time to avoid late fees and start their studies.
