Civil Surgeon warmly welcomes new Deputy Commissioner Ankurjit Singh

Nawanshahr 26 February- Civil Surgeon Dr. Balbir Kumar along with his entire team today warmly welcomed the new Deputy Commissioner of the district Ankurjit Singh by presenting a bouquet to him at the Deputy Commissioner's Office Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar. On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Balbir Kumar gave detailed information to the Deputy Commissioner about the progress of various national and state health programs including the effective implementation of OAT program for drug prevention and treatment management in the district.

On this occasion, Civil Surgeon Dr. Balbir Kumar gave detailed information to the Deputy Commissioner about the progress of various national and state health programs including the effective implementation of OAT program for drug prevention and treatment management in the district.
On this occasion, the new Deputy Commissioner Ankurjit Singh told Civil Surgeon Dr. Balbir Kumar that the district administration will give full support to the district health department to provide better health facilities to the common people. Civil Surgeon Dr. Balbir Kumar also assured the Deputy Commissioner that he will ensure that better and quality health facilities being provided by the health department reach all the citizens of the district and will ensure that the targets given in relation to all national and state health programs are met within the stipulated time.
He also said that better health facilities are already being provided to the common people in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district, but this time his full effort will be that no patient faces any kind of problem during treatment in government hospitals and all the necessary facilities including medicines for treatment should be available in government health institutions only.
On this occasion, Deputy Medical Commissioner Dr. Harpreet Singh, District Psychologist Dr. Rajan Shastri, Dr. Sandeep Bangar, Junior Assistant Harjodh Singh and other officers and employees of the Health Department were present.
