Haryana/Hisar: Rakesh Smriti Samman conferred Principal of Government Senior Secondary School Kharkada Praveen Chugh has expressed serious concern over the changing behaviour of teenage students. Praveen Chugh was referring to the recent incident in Satroad Cantt, in which a minor student shot his former classmate with his grandfather's pistol. Chugh said that we should take such incidents seriously and think deeply on it so that such incidents do not recur.
Praveen Chugh discussed in detail the reasons for such incidents and said that in adolescence children are developing emotionally, when they are unable to understand or express any emotion, they commit such incidents. He said that the home environment is also responsible for such incidents, if there is a fight, screaming, shouting at home, then the child learns the same. Peer pressure i.e. the company of the child is also a reason for such incidents.
Praveen Chugh has also suggested some measures to prevent such violent incidents.
1 Parents should understand the feelings of the child.
When the child is angry, ask him softly, why are you angry, did you feel bad about something.
2 Praise the child for good behavior.
3 Keep the child's routine regular, it is important to eat, sleep and play on time.
A tired or hungry child gets irritable quickly.
4 Parents should give time to the children and talk to them.
5 For better behavior of children, parents should also improve themselves and keep a peaceful environment at home as far as possible.
Finally, Praveen Chugh said on the basis of his 21 years of experience that a child is a blank paper, whatever you write on it will come out.
With love, patience and proper guidance every child can change.
