Hoshiarpur- Dr. Amrik Singh is a personality who has made Punjab and Punjabis famous all over the world. Dr. Amrik Singh is a retired professor and is a big name in the sports world. He has coached many great players and has prepared many professors, coaches and teachers. He is still constantly invited from abroad in international competitions as Head Judge, Technical Director in Kabaddi, Weightlifting, Powerlifting.
Dr. Amrik Singh said that for the last two and a half to three years, "Fit Always Hit Club" is being run by Rice Brothers at DC Chowk in our Kapurthala district. Where physical and mental activities are organized for people of all ages. And as the name of the club is, so is its work. Seeing all this, it is very proud that such a good level of training is given in our small city that children are bringing glory to India and Punjab at the national and international level in various activities.
Yoga exercises are conducted here for adults for weight loss and health. Children are trained in karate, kickboxing, boxing, wushu, wovinam, MMA, self-defense. Dance, aerobics and music and art and craft classes are also held at the end of the week.
Dr. Sahib said that I got the opportunity to join his summer camp, so when I went there, I saw that very young and innocent children were taking classes in karate, music, dance, painting, etc. with great peace and happiness. Every child was very enthusiastic and eager to learn.
When asked by Director Shri Bhuvan Rai Ji how so many activities are taught, he told that I have a team with me, in which each person is an expert teacher in his field. In which Shri Himanshu Dhiman Ji conducts art and music. Shri Pandav Rai is conducting karate and yoga. I myself conduct dance and fun games etc., through which the children are learning new activities every day.
Dr. Sahib told that all the teachers in this club are master degree holders who give advance training to the children with great love and in an easy manner.
