Door to door awareness campaign was started in Santoshgarh Nagar Parishad under Clean City-Prosperous City.

Santoshgarh, February 17- A special 'door to door' awareness campaign has been started in Santoshgarh Nagar Parishad to promote waste separation under Clean City-Prosperous City campaign. Under this campaign, the officers, representatives of the Nagar Parishad and members of self-help groups went door to door in Ward No. 9 and 8 of the Nagar Parishad and informed the people about the correct disposal of wet, dry and hazardous waste.

Santoshgarh, February 17- A special 'door to door' awareness campaign has been started in Santoshgarh Nagar Parishad to promote waste separation under Clean City-Prosperous City campaign. Under this campaign, the officers, representatives of the Nagar Parishad and members of self-help groups went door to door in Ward No. 9 and 8 of the Nagar Parishad and informed the people about the correct disposal of wet, dry and hazardous waste.
Executive Officer of Nagar Parishad Santoshgarh Lalit Kumar appealed to all the citizens to cooperate in this initiative and said that the residents of the Nagar Nigam should contribute in making Santoshgarh clean, beautiful and prosperous by adopting waste separation from their homes itself. Under this campaign, on Monday, by visiting the houses in Ward No. 8 and 9, information was taken from the local residents whether they give wet and dry waste separately, whether the facility of septic tank is available in their house.
During this, the citizens were also told through the sanitation workers that they should segregate the waste in the right manner so that it can be disposed of properly. Apart from this, a solution camp was organized in ward number 8 and 9 in which after making people aware, their problems were also known and they were also resolved.
On this occasion, Executive Officer Lalit Kumar, Sanitary Supervisor Shamli Thakur, Ruchi Saini, Councilor Manish Chhabra, Councilor Rachna Devi and many city residents were present.
