Door to door campaign under Clean City-Prosperous City has gained momentum

Una, February 17- Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that under the Clean City-Prosperous City campaign, the door to door campaign has gained momentum in Una city. Members of self-help groups are reaching more than 400 houses every day to survey and make people aware about the dry-wet waste and harmful waste coming out of the houses so that the waste can be disposed of properly.

Una, February 17- Municipal Corporation Commissioner and Additional Deputy Commissioner Mahendra Pal Gurjar said that under the Clean City-Prosperous City campaign, the door to door campaign has gained momentum in Una city. Members of self-help groups are reaching more than 400 houses every day to survey and make people aware about the dry-wet waste and harmful waste coming out of the houses so that the waste can be disposed of properly.
The ADC said that to make the Municipal Corporation Una clean and prosperous, extensive efforts are being made to educate and make people aware by going door to door. So that Una can be developed as a clean, well-organized and ideal Municipal Corporation.
The ADC said that under the Swachhata Abhiyan in the Municipal Corporation Una, the message is also being given to separate wet-dry and harmful waste and to use single-use polythene less and to collect single-use polythene and give it to the cleaning staff and not to burn polythene at all.
Apart from this, Municipal Corporation Assistant Engineer Rajendra Kumar Saini informed that survey of 1460 houses has been completed in Una city so far and ward number 8 of the former Municipal Council has been completed.
