Self-help groups to produce 20 thousand school uniforms this year - Avneet Kaur

She said that 10 thousand school uniforms were produced by self-help groups in the district last year and 20 thousand school uniforms will be produced this year. She said that this project will improve the income of local self-help groups. She said that under the 'Pehal' project, the work of making school uniforms is being done by women of self-help groups formed in villages so that they can become self-reliant and also increase their livelihood.
She said that a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among women towards this project. During this, he also interacted with the women preparing the uniforms. On this occasion, BDPO Balachaur Vipan Kumar and representatives of the Education Department were also present.
