Jalandhar- In the general body meeting of Deshbhakt Smarak Samiti held today, the organization of the 33rd Gadri Babas Fair-2024 was discussed by the fair management committees, cultural wing, fair supporting organizations and all the committee members after collecting the opinions and suggestions of the fair lovers and after this detailed view, it was said that concrete steps should be taken to take the 34th Fair-2025 to even greater heights.
In today's meeting, a constructive critical look was taken at various aspects of quiz, speech, singing and painting competition, Kavi Darbar, discussion, painting and photo exhibition and book exhibition and these competitions were discussed in depth so that these aspects can be kept in mind while preparing the outline of the next fair.
The fair was successful in terms of giving respectable place in the fair to drama, song-music, movements fighting against corporate and fascist attacks, historical events and heroes and highlighting their historical relevance. The first day of the fair was a success in terms of the presence of eminent scholars of the country, visitors from abroad and especially the emerging youth, but the shocking lack of competitions calls for a lot of thought.

It was decided to make the front of the Desh Bhagat Memorial Hall on the GT Road side more historically attractive and to create an effective atmosphere for people to visit the library and museum with folk songs, books, Ghadri songs and music in the morning and evening and on suitable occasions.
