Nabha- Zonal Vice President of Land Acquisition Struggle Committee Dharamvir Harigarh said that the Land Acquisition Struggle Committee held a meeting of active leaders of Block Nabha under the leadership of Zonal President Mukesh Malod in Sanhi Samadhan and elected a 15-member block committee.
In which the labour leaders of various villages unanimously elected the block members and office bearers and Paramjit Singh Mandoud was elected as President, Mani Mallewal as Vice President, Nirmal Singh Narmana as Secretary, Jagroop Singh Dhigi as Press Secretary and Daljit Singh Mallewal as Treasurer. Zonal Secretary Gurwinder Boor and Block President Paramjit Singh Mandoud said that the Land Acquisition Struggle Committee is continuously struggling to implement the land ceiling law, end land division and distribute the excess land among the landless and Dalits.
In this regard, the Zonal Committee has announced to take the land struggle forward by lighting lamps in the village Beed Aswan near Sangrur on February 28. In this program, Dalits and landless people from various villages of Nabha will be mobilized and included in large numbers. Block Vice President Mani Mallewal said that while preparations will be made to light lamps in Beed Aswan of the area, the struggle against the block and district officials will be intensified to get the pending issues of the villages resolved.
Apart from the above, block leader Chamkaur Singh, Suresh Singh Surajpur, Harbans Kaur Banera Khurd, Sukhwinder Kaur Mandod, Pala Singh Mojo Majri, Paramjeet Kaur Banera Khurd, Noni Mallewal, Jaspal Singh Dhingri and leaders of other units were present on this occasion.
