Garhshankar, 8 January- Kewal Krishan village Taunsa was appointed president of Forest Employees Union Punjab's Mandal Garhshankar and Nawanshahr, along with secretary Praveen Kumar village Garhi Mattan and cashier Ashok Kumar Balachaur were elected.
According to the election held in the organization, Tarsem Lal, Subhash Rana, Parminder Sandhu were elected senior vice presidents. Jaswinder Singh, Jagdish Singh, Shamsher Singh, Harmesh Lal were elected vice presidents. Ashok Kumar and Pawan Kumar were elected cashiers. Assistant Secretary Ajmer Singh, Press Secretary Dilbagh Mohammad, Satpal, Publicity Secretary Gopi Ram, Gurdeep Singh, Paramjit Singh, Organization Secretary Kamaljit Singh and Kashmiri Lal, Makhan Singh Wahadpuri, Amrik Singh were elected advisors.
During this election, Ram Ji Das, Jeet Ram, Shingara Singh and Sham Sundar arrived specially from the Federation.
