Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 22, 2025: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh has cancelled the license of firm Akash Education Associates.
Giving information, Additional District Magistrate Geetika Singh informed that firm Akash Education Associates Plot No. 135 Sector 82 J.L.P.L. Owner of Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mohali, Mr. Ishar Singh (Partner) son of Kirpal Singh, resident of House No. 20339, Street No. 30, Ajit Road, Bathinda Hall, resident of Flat No. 4552, 2nd Floor, Darshan Vihar, A.W.H.O. Complex Sector-68, District-Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and Mr. Kartar Singh (Partner) son of Mr. Ram Singh, resident of House No. 36, New Garden Colony, Amritsar Partnership was issued 347/IC dated 30-09-2019 for the work of Coaching Institute of IELTS, which has expired on 29.09.2024.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner said that based on the above-mentioned situation regarding the firm, the licensee has committed a violation under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012 due to non-renewal of the license as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, non-sending of monthly reports and advertisements, closure of the office, non-compliance of the clauses of the license, non-response/clarification of the notice.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in it under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, the firm Akash Education Associates, Coaching Institute of IELTS No. 347/IC dated 30-09-2019, has been cancelled/cancelled with immediate effect.
Apart from this, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible in every respect for it and will also be responsible for compensating for it.
