Patiala 06 August 2025: Making a strong appeal to the Punjab Government, the Punjab Forest Department Workers Union, state leader Mr. Virpal Singh Loomba and other fellow representatives have issued a joint press note demanding that the hardworking daily wage workers working under this institution in many divisions of the Forest and Wildlife Protection Department Punjab have not been paid their salaries for the work done since April 2025.

Patiala 06 August 2025: Making a strong appeal to the Punjab Government, the Punjab Forest Department Workers Union, state leader Mr. Virpal Singh Loomba and other fellow representatives have issued a joint press note demanding that the hardworking daily wage workers working under this institution in many divisions of the Forest and Wildlife Protection Department Punjab have not been paid their salaries for the work done since April 2025.
Due to the non-payment of salaries, it is becoming difficult for the workers to earn a living for their families. There are many workers who have not been able to buy wheat yet. They have also gone into debt with other daily necessities like milk and tea leaves. The workers have become victims of financial hardship.
Now no one even gives these workers loans. Due to which there is a very widespread protest among all the workers. It is the festival of Raksha Bandhan, the government or the minister is not taking note. In view of which a protest rally will be held in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Patiala on 8 August 2025 and a demand letter will be given under the flag of the Punjab Forest Department Workers Union Reg.
If any loss or any unpleasant incident occurs to any worker, the government will be responsible for it. On this occasion, the speakers present were Karnail Kaur, Lajwant Samana, Kulwant Suri Nabha, Kulwinder Singh, Harpreet Singh Lochma, Rajpura, Inder Ghagga, Harcharan Singh, Paramjit Kaur Sirhind, Balwinder Kaur Mohali, Satnam Banur, Gurpreet, Beant Singh, Amarjit Bhadson, etc.
