Hoshiarpur- Under the leadership of Assistant Director of Youth Services Department Hoshiarpur Ravipal Dara, in collaboration with Youth Services Club Vijay Nagar, awareness was spread against drugs at various places in the city. In which Prof. Vijay Kumar, in-charge of NSS and Red Ribbon Club of Government College Hoshiarpur, was specially present and presented his views on the occasion and motivated the people to stay away from drugs. At this time, people were made aware of drugs through street plays and were motivated to never use drugs in life. Addressing the people, Assistant Director Youth Services Hoshiarpur Shri Ravipal Dara Ji said that drugs ruin our life which is priceless and is obtained after many births. Our religious scriptures also bear witness to this. Therefore, one should not ruin it by getting addicted to drugs. Prof. Vijay Kumar of Government College Hoshiarpur gave an example of its bad effects in today's life and said that not only the drug addict becomes the object of hatred of the society. Rather, his family members also die before he dies by burning in the fire of drugs. Drugs destroy our body, mind and wealth.
He said that nowadays such drugs are prevalent which are related to aromatic substances like cardamom etc. Due to which no bad smell comes from the mouth of the person who takes drugs. Such a drug addict himself will have to be honest because such a person cheats not only the society but also himself.
On this occasion, Youth Club President Mr. Ajmer Singh, Mr. Dalwinder Dayal Puri, Dr. Neerja Sharma also made people aware about drugs. So that drugs can be eradicated from the society. On this occasion, Assistant Director Youth Services Hoshiarpur Mr. Ravipal Dara Ji welcomed the personalities who played a key role in this event by giving mementos.
