
Farmers march to Delhi: Security forces fired tear gas shells, 7 injured, 2 in critical condition
Shambhu Border/Patiala- On the call of farmer leaders, the first batch of 101 farmers started marching towards Delhi this afternoon, when the security forces standing on the Haryana side fired tear gas shells to stop the group. During the struggle that lasted for about two and a half hours, about 7 farmers were injured. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that many leaders have been injured due to the tear gas shells fired by Haryana Police.

After this, the group was called back. Pandher said that we have talked to Haryana Police. On their demand for a memorandum, a memorandum was handed over, in which it has been said to talk with the central government. Tomorrow has been fixed as the day for talks with the central government.
He has said that "We are ready for talks and will wait till tomorrow. We do not want a confrontation with the government. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan should talk to us." Pandher said that if the Centre negotiates then it is fine, otherwise a group of 101 farmers will march towards Delhi on 8 December (Sunday) at 12 noon. Before marching today, the farmers uprooted the barricades and barbed wires. On this, Haryana Police warned them and then fired tear gas shells. The condition of 2 of the injured farmers is said to be critical.
