Una, November 1 - The Postal Department is organizing a nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0 in 800 cities and towns from November 1 to 30 under an agreement with the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare. Giving information about this, Superintendent Post Office Una Bhupinder Singh said that through Digital Life Certificate Campaign 3.0, all pensioners; especially pensioners living in rural areas; can easily submit their life certificate by face authentication and fingerprint authentication. This service will be provided to post offices / pensioners through doorstep and digital life certificate camps from the vast network of the Department of Posts and India Post Payments Bank. Bhupinder Singh said that various stakeholders of pensioner welfare associations will be connected in this campaign so that old pensioners will get its benefit. To get the digital certificate, pensioners will have to submit any government document. Under this campaign, camps will be organized for making digital life certificates in the post offices of Una, Mehatpur, Amb and Gagret on 4th, 7th, 15th and 24th November.
He has appealed to all the central family pensioners, military and paramilitary force pensioners to take advantage of these camps. He said that to get the digital life certificate, the pensioner will have to contact the nearest post office or the postman/rural postal servant of the post office. For this, a fee of Rs 70 will be charged for digital life certificate generation.
For this service, the pensioner will have to provide only Aadhaar number and pension details. On completion of the process of making the certificate, the pensioner will receive a confirmation SMS on his mobile number and only after that he can check it online at https:/jeevanpramaan.gov.in/ppouser/login
