Patiala, October 30 - As part of the 'Swachhta Di Lehr Pandarwara' campaign, the Patiala Municipal Corporation today launched a comprehensive cleaning drive on major roads of the city. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Rajat Ubrai said that to reduce dust and enhance overall cleanliness, water sprinkling was done to ensure a clean and festive atmosphere ahead of the Diwali celebrations. 
He said that this initiative reflects the Corporation's dedication to maintain a clean environment during the auspicious festival and create a welcoming environment for the city residents. Such cleaning is an important part of the municipal corporation's wider campaign, which aims to clean the city thoroughly and ensure that the city of Patiala shines brightly for Diwali.
