Garhshankar- There is a lot of enthusiasm among the students for admission in the academic session 2025-26 in Babbar Akali Memorial Khalsa College Garhshankar, run under the leadership of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. Giving information in this regard, Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that students are coming from Himachal Pradesh, Hoshiarpur district, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar and the surrounding states of Ropar district for admission in the college.
He told that students are continuously reaching the college for admission in BA and BSc. The seats of one unit of BCom have been filled and admission has also started in the second unit of BCom, which is starting for the first time. He told that only a few seats are vacant in BCA.
He told that only a few seats are vacant in the four-year integrated BA B.Ed. Admissions are going on for more than 100 courses running in the college and BSc B.Ed. He informed that admissions for postgraduate level courses MA History, MCom, MSc History and Mathematics, PGDCA running in the college have also started.
Principal Dr. Amandeep Hira said that the college is committed to the all-round development of the students. He informed that along with various scholarship schemes of the government, students are provided scholarship facility for Amritdhari students by Shiromani Committee.
The college also provides financial assistance to needy students in terms of fees. He appealed to the residents of the area to get their children admitted to the college for their bright future.
