Dr Bansal said that under the Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme, all the needy families are getting a plot of 100 yards for just Rs 1 lakh, along with this, the beneficiaries of this scheme are also being given financial assistance by the government to build pucca houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
While praising the Haryana Government, Dr Bansal made a legitimate demand in the interest of journalists and said that under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme Rural/Urban, the government has so far distributed plots and residential houses to thousands of needy people free of cost or at concessional rates.
On the same lines, the Journalist Housing Scheme should be implemented in Haryana in which all journalist families get plots or residential houses free of cost or at concessional rates.
