Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 10, 2024:- District Magistrate, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Ms. Ashika Jain under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Protection Code-2023 within the boundary wall of District Administrative Complex, Sector-76, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar and inside the boundary wall. Orders have been issued to completely ban sit-ins and rallies within a radius of 100 meters outside.
 It has been clarified in these orders that there will be no restriction on persons less than five persons to enter this office through the main gate of this boundary wall for giving memorandum etc. These orders will remain in force from October 11 to December, 2024.
Ms. Ashika Jain said that it has come to notice that generally public, political parties and employee organizations etc. hold rallies around the building of District Administrative Complex, Sector 76, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. He said that by doing this, the employees working in the office and the general public face difficulty in coming to the office. Apart from this, doing so may cause damage to the building, causing loss of life and property. He said that due to this the law and order situation may also be disturbed. In view of this situation, these orders have been implemented to stop these actions.
