Chandigarh October 7, 2024- Panjab University (PU) is poised to host the 14th Annual Comparative Education Society of India (CESI) Conference from November 22nd-24th, 2024.
The theme and sub themes of the conference are aimed to address critical issues in education while fostering collaboration among educators, researchers and policymakers. The 14th CESI conference is expected to attract a diverse audience, featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions and presentations led by internationally esteemed experts in the field. Participants will have the opportunity to network, share research findings, and engage in meaningful dialogues.
A meeting of the advisory committee, led by the PU Registrar, Prof Y.P. Verma was held to discuss the preparations of the conference. The conference convener, Prof. Satvinderpal Kaur, highlighted that the event is expected to attract approximately 250 delegates, marking it as one of the largest events in the university. The meeting was attended by key university figures.
The Dean of Student Welfare (Women) Simrat Kahlon discussed plans for a cultural event to enrich the conference experience. Further discussions involved valuable insights and suggestions from eminent scholars like Prof. Akshaya Kumar, Prof. Kuldeep Kaur, Dr. Pankaj Srivastava, Prof. Jayanti Dutta, Dr. Lallan Singh regarding the logistical arrangements, ensuring that accommodations and transportation for guests are well-organized.
