Hoshiarpur- Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department has appealed to the beneficiaries availing free wheat under National Food Security Act-2013 to get their e-KYC done by 31st March.
Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that the beneficiaries availing free wheat under National Food Security Act-2013 in Hoshiarpur district who have not got their e-KYC done yet, should visit their nearest ration depot and ensure to get their e-KYC done by 31st March.
She said that the depot holders are getting e-KYC done for all the beneficiaries absolutely free of cost. It is worth mentioning that till now 76 percent of the beneficiaries in the district have got their e-KYC done. Therefore, the department has appealed to all the remaining beneficiaries to go to their nearest depot and get their e-KYC done by putting their thumb impression on the machines, so that they can keep getting the wheat that is being produced for them.
