Now in 'Samarthya', youth will also get financial help for preparing for army recruitment

Una, September 16 - The Una district administration has further expanded the scope of its youth and women welfare initiative 'Samarthya' and has now made a provision to provide financial assistance to the youth for preparing for army recruitment. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that under this program, boys and girls from poor families of the district will be provided financial assistance of Rs 25,000 for preparing for the army examination.

Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal said that under this program, boys and girls from poor families of the district will be provided financial assistance of Rs 25,000 for preparing for the army examination. This will help the youth from poor families to prepare better for the army recruitment examination and their dream of serving the country by joining the army will not be sacrificed due to financial constraints.
These are the conditions to get financial assistance
Under this program, boys and girls from poor families (whose father is not alive or is physically disabled by more than 70 percent) can apply. The annual income of the applicant from all sources should not exceed Rs 50 thousand. The age of the applicant should not be more than 22 years and they should be permanent residents of Una district. The applicant should be 10th pass and should not have taken advantage of any other scheme. The selected boys and girls will be provided a maximum amount of Rs 25 thousand for preparing for entry into the Army.
