Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, September 27:- Various public welfare works are being done by the Red Cross Branch under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Branch, SAS Nagar Mrs. Ashika Jain. Giving this information, Assistant Commissioner-cum-Honorary Secretary Dr. Ankita Kansal said that under this series, free distribution of prosthetic limbs, motorized tricycles, tricycles etc. was organized yesterday in collaboration with Artificial Limb Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO), Mohali (Punjab). In which some beneficiaries could not participate. They have been provided wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, rollators etc. free of cost today at the District Red Cross Branch, SAS Nagar office. Apart from this, Mr. Mahesh Paswan who lives in Amb Sahib Colony, Phase-11, Mohali. And works as a laborer, whose daughter is suffering from liver and brain disease, in view of his financial condition, Mr. Mahesh Paswan has been helped with one month's medicine for the treatment of his daughter from the fund of the District Red Cross Branch. Dr. Ankita Kansal further said that the District Red Cross Branch DCSAS Nagar under the leadership of Mrs. Ashika Jain will always give priority to public welfare works.
