New Delhi, August 31- Air Marshal Tejinder Singh will take over as the new Deputy Chief of the Air Force on September 1, amid a big push for indigenization in the Army. The Deputy Chief of the Air Force is in charge of modernization and procurement of infrastructure in the military.
Air Marshal Tejinder Singh is the senior Air Staff Officer of the Air Force's Eastern Command, considered the most important since 2023. Tejinder Singh, an experienced fighter pilot, has flown 4500 hours in various aircrafts.
