Zirakpur (SAS Nagar), 21 April 2025: Under the guidance of SSP Mohali Mr. Deepak Pareek and as per the directions of SP Traffic Mohali Mr. Navneet Mahal, DSP Traffic Police Mohali Mr. Karnail Singh gave detailed information about traffic rules to the students of Government Senior Secondary School, Daulat Singh Wala.
He emphasized on wearing good quality ISI marked helmet by the scooter/motorcycle driver as well as the pillion rider. He made people aware about standing at red light especially when no one is coming or going from any direction. He also said that we should follow traffic rules not to avoid challan but to be a good citizen for the safety of ourselves and others.
He appealed to not drive under influence of alcohol and to make others aware about this, not to let children below 18 years of age drive, lane driving, not to use pressure horns, to park vehicles properly instead of parking them on the road, to use indicators while turning left or right, not to deliberately fire crackers on any bullet-motorcycle.
He also told to call on helpline number 112 to get help from the police and to give information about the correct location. Along with this, he also emphasized on staying away from addiction and paying attention to sports along with studies and working for the development of the state and the country while maintaining good health.
On this occasion, Principal Dr. Sunil Bahl told the students to follow the valuable thoughts of DSP Traffic Mohali Shri Karnail Singh and thanked the entire traffic team and hoped that they will keep coming to the school from time to time and make the students aware about traffic rules. On this occasion Mr. Karnail Singh DSP Traffic, Mohali, Mr. Kulwant Singh Incharge Traffic, Zirakpur along with the entire traffic team and the entire staff of the school were present.
