Patiala, June 28 - Patiala police arrested 3 persons who were robbing cash and mobile phones in police uniform and recovered cash and 20 stolen mobile phones from them. In the press note issued by the police, Senior Captain of Police Patiala Varun Sharma has said that, A police party of CIA Patiala arrested the robbers Jatinderpal Singh alias Khokhar alias Sunny, Birinderpal Singh alias Bindu and Prabhavjot Singh from Shiv Mandir Patiala near Rajpura Colony yesterday. From the interrogation, it has come to light that when these accused used to commit an incident, one of them would wear a police uniform and sit on the back seat of the car and threaten to be a policeman. They have carried out many incidents of stealing mobile phones and cash from passers-by day and night in different areas of the city. The mastermind of this gang is Jatinderpal Singh alias Khokhar alias Sunny who works as a senior assistant at Punjabi University, Patiala.
