Chandigarh, March 13, 2025- The students of Master of Political Science of "Department of Evening studies-Multi Disciplinary Research Centre (DES-MDRC),Panjab University Chandigarh today visited the Haryana Vidhan Sabha in Chandigarh.
As many as 42 students and faculty members joined the live Legislative Session. The students learnt about political processes of the State Legislative Assembly. They enjoyed the debate and discussion on various social and economic issues and learnt about the agendas, manifestoes, and visions of the leadership. They also visited the assembly library and saw remarkable works of eminent authors.
Students also explored the Heritage Capital Complex and gained good knowledge about the historical buildings.
In this departmental visit, the students were assisted by Chairperson Prof. Neeraj Jain, Prof. Harsukhjit Kaur, Dr.Nirmal Singh, Dr Sachna, Dr Himanshi, Dr Jaspreet and Dr Ashwarya.
