Una, December 23- Chief Engineer of Jal Shakti Department Anju Sharma visited Haroli assembly constituency on Monday and reviewed the implementation of water supply schemes related to the Bulk Drug Park project. She said that the works related to water supply for the Bulk Drug Park will be completed in three phases, on which a total expenditure of Rs 66 crore will be incurred. She also gave proper guidelines to the officers to speed up the implementation of the schemes and ensure quality.

She said that the works related to water supply for the Bulk Drug Park will be completed in three phases, on which a total expenditure of Rs 66 crore will be incurred. She also gave proper guidelines to the officers to speed up the implementation of the schemes and ensure quality.
The Chief Engineer said that under the able guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri, who is handling the responsibility of Jal Shakti Ministry, work is being done diligently to complete all the schemes of the Jal Shakti Department related to the Bulk Drug Park project in a timely and effective manner. Along with this, he informed that as per the instructions of the Deputy Chief Minister, the work for strengthening drinking water, irrigation, and sewerage facilities across the state has been expedited, so that better facilities can be provided to the public.
Anju Sharma informed that the work of water supply schemes related to the Bulk Drug Park project will be completed in three phases. In the first phase, 15 tube wells will be installed, from which 15 MLD water will be delivered to a tank with a storage capacity of 50 lakh liters. Along with this, water will be lifted from 15 tube wells and sent to a collection tank with a capacity of 25 lakh liters. Water supply will be ensured in the infrastructure of the Bulk Drug Park through these tanks. In the second phase, water will be lifted from two tube wells and supplied to the administrative block, so that sufficient water is available for administrative work. In the third phase, four ponds will be renovated at a cost of Rs 11 crore. Along with this, the defunct borewells of the Jal Shakti Department will be recharged with rain water and reused.
215 crores are being spent on drinking water-irrigation-flood control works in Haroli
The Chief Engineer informed that the work of various drinking water, irrigation and flood control projects worth Rs 215 crore is in progress in Haroli assembly constituency. In these, work is being done on 22 irrigation schemes worth Rs 51 crore and 11 drinking water schemes worth Rs 134 crore. Apart from this, the work of drinking water scheme worth Rs 5 crore has been almost completed to ensure the supply of drinking water to the people of three villages of Laluwal-Poliyan area. At the same time, work of three schemes worth Rs 25 crore is also in progress in flood control works. Apart from this, he also inspected the work of the rest house being built by the Water Power Department at Haroli at a cost of about Rs 7 crore.
During the visit of the Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer of Water Power Department, Naresh Dhiman, and Executive Engineer of Haroli, Puneet Sharma accompanied him.
