Hoshiarpur- District Red Cross Society is continuously promoting social service and public welfare works. In this series, Quantum Papers Limited Saila Khurd presented an ambulance to the District Red Cross Society under its corporate social responsibility. This ambulance van was handed over by Quantum Papers Limited Managing Director Pawan Khaitan and Senior General Manager Ajayesh Gupta to Deputy Commissioner-cum-President District Red Cross Society Ashika Jain.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain said that the Red Cross Society has always been a pioneer in social work and this ambulance van will prove helpful in taking the needy patients, injured and sick persons to the hospital on time. She thanked the company management for this important contribution of Quantum Papers Limited and also appealed to other companies and social workers to cooperate in public welfare works.
The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the general public to join the service works of the Red Cross Society and come forward to help the needy. Giving information, District Red Cross Society Secretary Mangesh Sood said that this ambulance van will provide service in Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur. Needy people can avail this ambulance service from the Civil Hospital at reasonable rates.
