Hoshiarpur - Dairy Development Department, Punjab is starting a 2 week dairy training course from June 24, 2024 at Dairy Training Centre, Phagwara. Giving information in this regard, Joint Director Dairy Development Kashmir Singh said that in this training program, information will be given about the latest techniques of dairy cattle purchase, maintenance, feeding, breed improvement, conservation and proper marketing. Eligibility for this course is that the learner belongs to a rural area, has at least fifth pass and is between 18 to 55 years of age. He said that the fee for the training course will be Rs 1000 for general category and Rs 750 for scheduled caste trainees. Candidates interested in taking the training should contact the office of Deputy Director Dairy, Mini Secretariat, 4th Floor, Room No. 439 with their documents like Education Certificate, Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Caste Certificate and 2 passport size photographs by 24th June 2024. After receiving the training, the trainees will be able to take loan of 2 to 10 milch animals and the government will provide financial assistance of 25 percent for general caste and 33 percent for scheduled caste.
