Sanur/Patiala, May 17 - Chairman of Sikh Migrant Welfare Board Punjab and Senior Vice Chairman of Congress Party's Progressive Cell (Chaurasi Riot Victim Family) Punjab, Kartar Singh Patna, under the leadership of Constituency MLA Harmeet Singh Pathan Majra and Gaurav Babba. He left the Congress party along with his colleagues and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
Sanur/Patiala, May 17 - Chairman of Sikh Migrant Welfare Board Punjab and Senior Vice Chairman of Congress Party's Progressive Cell (Chaurasi Riot Victim Family) Punjab, Kartar Singh Patna, under the leadership of Constituency MLA Harmeet Singh Pathan Majra and Gaurav Babba. He left the Congress party along with his colleagues and joined the Aam Aadmi Party.
On this occasion, Kartar Singh Patna and his colleagues were warmly welcomed by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on joining the party. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann assured Kartar Singh Patna and all the leaders who joined the Aam Aadmi Party with him that if a Sikh Migration Board had to be formed separately to solve the problems of all the Sikh immigrants who came from other states in Punjab. The Punjab government will consider it and take a decision.
On this occasion, Patna and his colleagues make aware of the difficulties of 50 thousand Sikh migrant families and also gave the memorandum to the Chief Minister of Punjab. After listening to the problems mentioned in the memorandum, Chief Minister Punjab assured that the problems will be solved after the Lok Sabha elections. On this occasion, apart from Patna, Board President Harwinder Singh Kaka, General Secretary Gurjot Singh, Vice President Manjit Singh Raju and Manjit Singh Baga, Cashier Amarjit Singh, Dr. Gurcharan Singh Moga, Maan Singh, Satnam Singh, Sunny Bindra, Surinder Singh JK , Ravinder Singh Baga Sunny, Daljit Singh Saluja and other members of the board were also present.
