Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 24, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is rising above factionalism and party politics and implementing development-oriented works, this was revealed by MLA Kulwant Singh while talking to the media today after dedicating the newly installed tubewells in villages Dau Ramgarh and Lakhnaur to the people.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that since the people have brought the Aam Aadmi Party government into existence with full enthusiasm and enthusiasm, since then only development-oriented works are being given priority, so that the people can get quality health and education facilities.
It is worth mentioning here that earlier a tubewell was installed in Daun Ramgarh village which was not sufficient for the population of the village, due to which this new tubewell was installed keeping in mind the demand of the villagers. This tubewell has been installed by the Water Supply and Sanitation Department of Punjab, whose bore is 10 inches and the depth is about 1100 feet. The cost of this tubewell is Rs. 35.88 lakh.

Village Daun, Gurnam Singh Sarpanch Daun, Iqbal Singh Sarpanch Jujhar Nagar, Balvir Singh Sarpanch Raipur, Gurjinder Singh Sarpanch Ballomajra, Randhir Singh Sarpanch Hussainpur, Malkit Singh Block President, Rajinder Singh Raju Sarpanch Barmajra, Gurnam Singh Sarpanch Barmajra Colony, Raju Daun, Mandeep Singh Panch Daun, Harjit Singh Panch Dau, Ashok Kumar Panch Dau, Pratap Panch Daun, Amit Verma Daun, Manpreet Singh Barmajra, Gurvinder Singh Pinky, Atwar Singh Mauli, Harpal Singh Channa, R.P. Sharma, Harmesh Singh Kumbra, Bhupinder Singh Mauli, Sunny Mauli were also present.
Similarly, there were 2 tubewells installed for drinking water supply in village Lakhnaur, out of which one tubewell was damaged for a long time and was causing problems for the villagers to get drinking water, due to which this tubewell has been installed as per the demand of the villagers, this tubewell has been installed by the Water Supply and Sanitation Department of Punjab. MLA Kulwant Singh further said that the bore of this tubewell is 10 inches and the depth is about 920 feet. This tubewell has cost Rs 26.50 lakh.
It is worth mentioning here that a tubewell was installed earlier in this village, Daun Ramgarh, which was not sufficient according to the population of the village. Due to which this new tubewell was installed keeping in mind the demand of the villagers.
On this occasion, Kuldeep Kaur Sarpanch Lakhnaur, Prabhjot Kaur former Sarpanch Lakhnaur, Mukhtiar Singh Lakhnaur, Gursewak Singh, Premi Sarpanch Mauli, Tarlochan Singh Tochi Sarpanch Village Kailon (Block President), Harinder Singh Tikka Panch Mauli, Amandeep Singh Sona former Panch Lakhnaur, Gurmukh Singh Numberdar, Kuldeep Singh Panch, Bhag Singh Panch, Jaspreet Singh Panch, Dilbagh Singh Panch, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Akbinder Singh Gosal, Ladi Lakhnaur and Gurpreet Singh Kurra were also present.
