Hoshiarpur - According to the guidelines of Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Balwinder Kumar, a quarterly review meeting regarding the National Immunization Program was organized under the chairmanship of District Immunization Officer Dr. Seema Garg. All LHVs from different blocks of the district participated in this meeting organized in the training hall of Office Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur.
In the meeting, detailed discussions were held and necessary instructions were issued to run the vaccination program smoothly. Dr. Gagan Sharma, representative of WHO specially participated in this meeting. Addressing the meeting, Dr. Seema Garg shared information about setting preventive log book, ensuring microplan, maintaining stock register in addition to temperature log book at every cold chain point to all LHVs. He directed the LHVs to ensure timely updating of all vaccination related data on the U-Win portal.
  He also instructed to pay special attention to reporting of AFP cases, reporting of AEFI cases and ensuring that anaphylaxis kits are kept at every session site. Along with this, he made a list of drop out children of Penta 1, 2 and 3 and asked them to vaccinate them by Saturday and report to the district headquarters.
