S. A. S. Nagar, November 6 - On behalf of Panthak Akali Lehr, Jathedar Bhai Ranjit Singh has said that the successive governments have always considered the Shiromani Committee to be helpless and there is a need to end the rule of politics from the Shiromani Committee.
In Mohali, Harminder Singh Patton while addressing the grand Panthak gathering organized at Gurdwara Sant Mandal Angitha Sahib in Phase 8, he said that
  Now, after a long time, we have got an opportunity to put the management of the Guru Ghar in the right hands and candidates dedicated to the Guru Ghar will be fielded by the panthak movement. He appealed to the people to go ahead and cast their votes and vote for eligible candidates.

On this occasion, while criticizing the current Shiromani Committee, he said that despite having such a big budget, the committee does not provide any necessary treatment to any of our poor children, nor is there any arrangement for free education. He said that the soul of our leadership has become that of gentlemen and thugs and our management committee still does not understand what we are doing. He said that the Shiromani Committee still has a lot to do, because the poor children are still not able to progress due to being deprived of education. He said that new and religious faces will be fielded by the Akali panthak movement.

During the conversation with the journalists on this occasion, he said that the Gurdwara Election Commission should increase the time for making votes keeping in mind the upcoming festivals this month.
