
PM Shri inaugurates State Level Scouts & Guides Camp at KV No. 1 Patiala Cantt.
Patiala, July 25- The five-day Bharat Scouts & Guides Rajya Puraskar Testing Camp was inaugurated at PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Patiala Cantt under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. The camp was formally inaugurated by Col. Amit Bakshi who motivated the young Scouts and Guides with his inspiring and encouraging words. He emphasised on the values of discipline, leadership and service to the nation which lie at the core of Scouting.

Scouts and Guides from around 44 Kendriya Vidyalayas are participating with enthusiasm, eager to complete their journey of achieving the prestigious Rajya Puraskar, one of the highest honours for Scouts and Guides at the State level. A key person behind the successful organisation of this camp is Dr. Arun Kumar, Principal of PM Shri KV No. 1 and Site Director of the camp.
Over the course of five days, participants will undergo rigorous assessment of their scouting skills, including community service, first aid, pioneering, mapping, environmental conservation activities and many other activities. The camp is a testament to the school's values, self-discipline and commitment to excellence in co-curricular education.
