Patiala- On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Principal Mrs. Manju Garg of Green Land Public Senior Secondary School, Patiala said that there is no religion above country, humanity, home-family, duty, environment, discipline, humility, tolerance, patience, peace, obedience, hard work and honesty.
Therefore, a person should honestly follow the rules, laws and principles of his country, society, home-family, nature and live life by sharing happiness, prosperity and satisfaction.
On this occasion, retired training supervisor of Red Cross, Kaka Ram Verma said that country means the soil, air, food, water, rivers, parks, trees, mountains, buildings of the country, all are part of the country, so giving them love, respect, honour, protecting them, striving for their progress and doing their work with honesty and integrity is Desh Seva.
The students shared their views about Kargil war, bravery of soldiers, patriotism, discipline, obedience, hard work and honesty. Fruit trees dedicated to Kargil Vijay Diwas were also planted in the school. Expressing gratitude, Sarabjit Kaur said that such programs highlight the qualities of patriotism, discipline, obedience, honesty, loyalty etc. in children.
 Soldiers, paramilitary forces, police, doctors, nurses, fire brigade blood donors and people working to protect humanity should be role models for children, not film stars or other actors.
