Shri Ram Sharanam Satsang Management Committee Member Madhu Sehgal said that the event began with the recitation of the holy Shri Amritbani, after which Satsang took place.

During this, the silent fast kept by Sadhak Mahesh for 40 days was opened by chanting the word Ram. Describing the importance of silence, Sadhak Mahesh said that by remaining silent, a person gains physical, mental and spiritual strength, peace and spiritual knowledge. Remaining silent is an important means for the purification of the mind. Silence is such a penance that separates us from external relationships and connects us with the soul.
This gives the power to control the senses. Many problems are solved by remaining silent. He said that we should always use our Bani wisely and appropriately as per the need. Sadhak Mahesh sang his hymn 'Meri Lagi Ram Sang Lagan, Eh Duniya Kya Jaane' and enchanted the congregation.
On this occasion, Dr. JD Verma from Shri Ram Sharanam Mandir Lal Chowk, social worker Jogi Ji, Jatinder Sengar of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Yogesh Marwaha, Rajkumar Sondhi from Ganpati Club and the entire congregation present congratulated Sadhak Mahesh Ji on completing his silent fast.
