Garhshankar, July 9- Talking about Government Senior Secondary Smart School Birampur, Principal Sukhwinder Kumar said that today Sir Hardev Singh Kahma Ji, Chairman and Managing Director, Teesta Agro Industries Limited, Kolkata visited the school. He congratulated all the staff members, students and parents for the good annual results.
Sir Hardev Singh Kahma Ji congratulated the brilliant students of class VIII of the school who secured more than 90% marks, including Sapna, Navjot Kaur, Poonam, Manpreet Kaur and students of class X who secured more than 90% marks, namely Anvi, Arshdeep Janagal, Loveleen, Gagandeep Sidhu, motivated them to achieve higher positions and donated a secret amount for further education. Parents of the students of the school were congratulated on getting admission in meritorious schools.
While talking, the school principal told that Sardar Hardev Singh Kahma ji shared his life experiences with the students, motivated the students to progress and made the students aware of their life goals. He also gave the target to the teachers of the school to get more than 90% marks for the students for the session 2025-26. Regarding which all the teachers and students promised that the result of the next session will be even better.
On this occasion, the Sarpanch of the village Mr. Surinder Duggal ji and all the members of Panchayat Sahiban Charanjit Singh, Amrik Singh, Raj Rani, Usha Rani, Manjit Lal, Raj Kumar, Rahul Kumar ji thanked Sardar Hardev Singh Kahma ji for the commendable work done for the development of the village. They assured to contribute to the development taking place in the school and saplings were planted in the school by Shivalik Social Society and the students were given the responsibility of planting the saplings.
Social workers Dr. Lakhwinder, Surinder Chinda, Phoola Ram, Sandy Bhajaliya, Preet, Dharamjit Singh and Rajan ji assured to contribute in all kinds of development works. These social workers organize blood donation camps from time to time, provide wheelchairs to the needy, etc. Many welfare works are done by these social workers.
