S. Baljit Singh said that on this occasion 50 percent unearned increment clause in some lease deeds of allottees of Altop Industrial Area Phase 8 Mohali and no profit rates for small industries running from rented sheds for 10-15 years by the state government. It was demanded to arrange the land. Along with this, the issue of removal of garbage dump from Phase 8B Mohali was also raised.

On this occasion, CII Punjab Chairman Dr. PJ Singh demanded to remove the 5-year period to allow distribution of large plots of industrial area and to complete hotels, hospitals, institutions in industrial plots. On this occasion, Chairman of PhD Chamber, Punjab Chapter, Chandigarh RS Sachdeva spoke about the issues related to the industry.

Chanalon Association President Mr. AR Chaudhary raised the issue of separate power grid for Chanalon Industrial Area and plot for association office.

Mr. Baljit Singh has told that on this occasion, Mr. DPS Kharbanda assured the industrialists that the issues will be resolved within the specified time frame.
