Patiala, April 24 - A voter awareness camp was organized at Government Mahindra College by the District Sweep Team. On this occasion, the students and staff were urged to participate as voters in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and informed about the last date of voter registration on May 4.

On this occasion, Nodal Officer Sweep Dr. Savinder Rekhi said that voter registration can be done easily through the help line app of the Election Commission online or through the Booth Level Officer (BLO) of the concerned polling booth. College Principal Prof. Amarjit Singh presided over the function and urged the young voters to actively participate in the election process. Nook Natak was organized at different places within the college campus, giving the message of voter awareness, moral voting and information about the Election Commission's online apps.
The district team also shared the above information with the teachers of Patiala district participating in the central online admission training within the college and requested them to convey this information to their students. Prof Navjot Singh, Prof Meenakshi, Mohit Kaushal, NSS Program Officer of the college Sunita Arora, Monika, Kamaljit Kaur and College Nodal Officer Sweep Hardeep Singh were present on this occasion.
